Camouflage Home In Lamy, New Mexico Reminds Us Of ‘The Flintstones’ House (PHOTO)

It’s one thing to design your home’s exterior to fit in well with the neighborhood, but this house takes that idea to a whole new level. The camouflage home in Lamy, New Mexico, about 20 miles from Santa Fe, seems to almost disappear into the surrounding rocky desert landscape.

Designed by Norah Pierson, a Santa Fe jeweler, this 2,300-square-foot home isn’t actually made from rock at all. She covered a typical abode with a polyurethane spray foam that’s usually used as insulation to give it a stone-like look and then tinted it to match the environment.
